* Fun Run Chair - Plan and organize the funniest day of the year. Organize the event, arrange handing out prizes and promoting the event. (1 volunteer needed) flexible Aug/Sept
* Fun Run Committee - Assist the chair with planning and organizing the funniest day of the year. (3-4 volunteers needed) flexible Aug/Sept
* School Store Chair- Check inventory and purchase merchandise, submit deposits, and ensure volunteers are able to run the store Wed/Fri 8:55-9:30 (Ideally this person can shadow the current chair during the 2024-2025 school year) (~2 hrs a mth flexible)
* School Store - Ability to count money amongst chaos is a must! 7 volunteers needed Wed/Fri 8:55-9:30 (1 hr a week flexible)
* Classroom Parent - Classroom Parent - Update the directory 1-2 times a year with class lists. (flexible 3-4 hours a year)
* Cultural Arts Programs - organized the school assemblies with the school POC. (flexible 3-4 hours a year)
* Trunk or Treat - Organize, promote, and plan (including collecting candy) a trunk or treat event at the school. (flexible 3-4 hours a year)Aug-Oct)
* Veteran's Day Celebration - Plan and organize a celebrations for our Vet's. (flexible)
* Birthday Books - Volunteer would need to hand out books during lunch to students who have a birthday. This will need to be done monthly. Ordering new books to restock would also be needed. (1-2 hrs mth)
* Teacher Treats - Set up a signup Genius to arrange for monthly treats to be distributed to teachers. (flexible 1-6 hrs year)
* Dine Out Nights - Plan and coordinate with local restaurants to have a Sandymount night and make fliers. Ideally we have one each month some place different. (flexible 1-3 hrs a year)
* Players Fun Zone/Red Barn Ranch - Coordinate with Players/Red Barn to arrange a Sandymount night, (flexiable2x a year)
* READATHON - Organize the event, arrange handing out prizes and promoting the event. (1-3 volunteers needed) Jan/Feb
* Teacher Conference Dinners - Set up a signup Genius to arrange for food to be donated by parents/guardians for teachers during parent/teacher conference nights.
* Hershey Park Ticket Coordinator - Coordinate the purchasing and selling of tickets. Distribute upon arrival.
* Art To Remember - Assist with scheduling of event with Art to Remember, distribute order forms, place orders and distribute Art at school. Training Provided. 1 volunteer needed April/May.
* Hospitality - Send cards to teachers getting married, having a baby, or a death in the family. Also gives gifts for retirement.
* Assist with Sponsorship & Donation Requests - Send emails and/or drop letters off to local businesses requesting their support.
* Flyer Printer & Distribution in school - The volunteer would make copies and have them ready to be distributed in teacher mailboxes.
* PTA Membership Coordinator - Assist with gaining memberships and directory entries. Utilize Classroom Parent to input memberships and hand out membership cards. 2 volunteers needed for Sept/Oct. (flexible)
* PTA Bulletin Board Creator - The volunteer would design a bulletin board quarterly to reflect events.
* 5th Grade messages for yearbook - The volunteer should have a 5th grader and be able to meet deadline and be organized.
* School Kidz Kits Coordinator - School supply kits for the next school year (2025-2026). Gather supply lists, upload list to School Kidz Kits online; Verify supplies and distribute order forms. Kits arrive at school in August-coordinate and assist with distribution. Volunteer needed for May/August.
* BINGO Event Planner - Plan and coordinate a BINGO night at Sandymount. Needs to be able to arrange to have prizes and raffles.
* Super Saturday - Plan and coordinate Super Saturday. Needs to be able arrange volunteer coverage for the event.
